I am originally from the UK, but have lived in the USA for five years. I teach English, Writing and Folk Literature in Baltimore,
MD. - and I write.
I've been writing seriously for around 15 years. I started with stage plays for young people to perform, and
short stories for magazines. In 1995 I came runner up in a screenplay competition run by the Times newspaper in London.
I wrote my first novel, Hide and Seek, while I was doing my MA in Writing in England.
